1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy applies specifically to the Phil mobile application (available on iOS and Android). Phil is a lightweight AI assistant app designed with privacy in mind.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information

When you sign in to Phil, we collect:

• Your email address
• Your name (if signing in with Google or Apple)
• Authentication tokens to keep you signed in

2.2 Device Information

• Push Notification Token: If you enable notifications, we collect your device token to send you alerts about new messages. You can disable notifications anytime in app settings.
• Basic Device Identifiers: Device type (iOS/Android) and app version for technical support.

2.3 Biometric Data

Important: If you enable Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint authentication, this biometric data is stored locally on your device only. We never receive, transmit, or store your biometric data. We only receive a yes/no confirmation that authentication succeeded or failed.

2.4 What We DO NOT Collect

• Your conversations: Phil does not store any of your chat messages or conversation history.
• Location data: We do not collect your location.
• Contacts or photos: We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal files.
• Browsing history or other app activity: Phil only operates within the app itself.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the minimal information we collect only to:

• Authenticate you and keep you signed in securely
• Send you push notifications when enabled
• Process your conversations in real-time (not stored)
• Provide technical support if you contact us

4. Data Sharing

We share minimal information with:

• Meta (Llama AI): Your text conversations are processed in real-time through Meta's Llama AI for text generation. Conversations are not retained after processing.
• Google (Gemini AI): Image-related requests are processed through Google's Gemini AI for image generation. Data is not retained after processing.
• Anthropic (Claude Vision): Image modification requests are processed through Anthropic's Claude Vision. Data is not retained after processing.
• Firebase (Google): For delivering push notifications to your device.
• Supabase: For secure authentication services.

We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. User Consent

The App will request user consent before any data is sent to third-party AI services. Users can manage their preferences within the App.

6. Data Retention

• Account information: Retained as long as your account is active.
• Conversations: Not stored. Processed in real-time only.
• Push tokens: Retained until you disable notifications or delete your account.

7. Your Rights and Controls

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the following controls:

• Disable push notifications: Turn off in app settings or device settings anytime.
• Disable biometric authentication: Turn off Face ID/Touch ID in app settings anytime.
• Delete your account: Contact support@anthropie.ai to request account deletion.
• Sign out: Sign out of the app anytime to remove local session data.

8. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect user data. We protect your information using:

• End-to-end encryption for all data in transit
• Secure authentication through industry-standard protocols
• Biometric data stored locally on your device (never transmitted)

9. Children's Privacy

Phil is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
